FAST AND EASY INSTALL: SharkBite Max push-to-connect brass push transition couplings are perfect for making easy transitions from a polybutylene pipe to a PEX, copper, CPVC, PE-RT and SDR-9 HDPE pipe in any combination. No need for soldering, glue, or additional tools; pipe connector can be installed in wet lines
NO PEX TUBE LINER: With no PEX pipe tube liner required, SharkBite Max plumbing fittings eliminate flow restriction when used on Copper/CPVC
STRONG AND DURABLE: The reinforced stainless steel collar locks in the cartridge and provides additional strength for 50 percent reduction in insertion force
LEAD FREE: Flex polybutylene transition coupling is made of high-quality forged DZR brass with reinforced stainless steel that is lead free; all SharkBite pipe fittings meet the same standards for commercial and residential plumbing applications
CERTIFIED: Transition couplings are rated to 200 degrees F and 400 PSI with 2K maximum burst
