HOW TO ORDER YOUR CORRECT SIZE: Remove your current metal return air vent and air filter. Measure inside your duct opening. DO NOT measure your current metal return air vent; this will result in ordering the wrong size.
To install, your HVAC opening MUST be 1/8" larger than the size you order. So, for this size vent: 14 1/8" wide x 25 1/8" high is the required duct size needed to install in your home. NOT compatible with many Galvanized Sheet Metal Ducts that tend to be smaller than the nominal sized opening. Carefully measure to avoid wall modifications or returns.
14" wide x 25" high - Louvers go the width measurement ( left to right) and must be ordered the correct orientation. This vent has louvers running the 14" measurement. Avoid the louvers going the wrong way.
We require 3" of clearance inside ducts to install and hold both the wood cover and standard 1” filters (Remove filters to determine 3" of clearance)
Requires 2" of surrounding space for outside casing (picture frame) Note baseboards and other millwork obstacles less than 2" away.
