FAST AND EASY INSTALL: SharkBite Max push-to-connect brass push caps are perfect for plugging the end of a PEX, copper, CPVC, PE-RT and SDR-9 HDPE pipe quickly and easily. No need for soldering, glue, or additional tools; pipe connector can be installed in wet lines
NO PEX TUBE LINER: With no PEX pipe tube liner required, SharkBite Max plumbing fittings eliminate flow restriction when used on Copper/CPVC; large diameter fittings (1-1/4 in. to 2 in.) require a Stiffener when connecting to PEX pipe
STRONG AND DURABLE: The reinforced stainless steel collar locks in the cartridge and provides additional strength for 50 percent reduction in insertion force
LEAD FREE: Flex plug end cap is made of high-quality forged DZR brass with reinforced stainless steel that is lead free; all SharkBite pipe fittings meet the same standards for commercial and residential plumbing applications
CERTIFIED: Pushfit end caps are rated to 200 degrees F and 400 PSI with 2K maximum burst
